"Having worked alongside Chris as part of a series of exhibitions, I found him to be a great source of inspiration and enthusiasm. Chris is always ready to pitch in with creative ideas, seeing things through the final stages."
"The covid pandemic was an immediate and urgent threat to the Carlton Club, and Chris Massey was brought [in with an initial remit to work within the ever changing covid restrictions] to curate a series of events and to promote the club to ensure survival.
Two years on, and the Club positively thriving, with a vibrant and diverse calendar of arts, music, socials, food, exercise and well-being. Chris has been instrumental in this transformation of the club - his vision, hard work and drive along with his extensive set of relationships and connections, have taken the club massively forwards. People find Chris great to work with, and we wouldn’t be where we are today without him.”

"I first worked with Chris on my Arts Council funded DYCP project ‘Finding My Sound’. For the project, I wanted a mentor who could take my production to the next level, someone who was experienced in the studio and had worked across a broad range of electronic genres. Chris has opened my eyes to new ways of thinking about producing and mixing music.
From fundamental techniques that form the backbone of studio engineering, through to versatile principles of music production, I’ve come away from our studio sessions with a toolkit of best practices that I now use in my studio on a weekly basis, on whatever I’m writing that day. In the past year since we worked together, my studio techniques have vastly improved, all from those initial sessions, which then led me to become a confident producer and seek out my own sound. If anything comes up or I hit a brick wall in the studio, I always get in touch with Chris who offers sound advice each time. I can’t recommend Chris enough for all things studio-related."

"I saw Chris had put some visuals together as a backdrop for Will Tramp DJ set at Escape to Freight Island. So inspired - I asked him to put something together for Homobloc Festival. I just gave Chris a few ideas and key people we wanted featuring and what vibe what we were thinking and felt confident enough to let Chris do the rest. We were delighted with the results we even left them on a loop for 8 hours at an after party. Really pleased and the visuals really were an important part of the whole event"
“Having opened a couple of exhibitions with Chris, his approachable nature, open-mindedness makes getting things done easy. I feel having Chris working with you on anything just gives you less things to worry about. He just makes life easier.”
“Chris has done a cracking job of whipping up some unique, creative visuals for the club night 'Girls on Film'. The videos are on brand and look brilliant when projected onto a screen behind the DJ decks. He took the brief and injected personality and humour which is exactly what we were looking for. Really reliable and turned the projects around quickly. Will continue to use him for future work.”
